Finding the right app for your security system is easy. Match the Swann model name to the right app then click-through to the download page on iTunes or Google Play. I have multiple Mac Computers with the latest MacOS on them. I downloaded the latest release of HomeSafe View, but this is so, so unreliable. When it works (cameras aren't showing up with a red @ over them) it constantly crashes after maybe a minute or two. Also this software doesn't even show up as HomeSafe View, it shows up as Surveillance Client. Is this a 3rd party App that Swann is trying to make work with the DVR's? Fortunately I don't need to use my computer that often, but this is really ridiculous that this is what we have to use. HomeSafe View on iOS is very stable and works well. If you have any suggestions as to how to make this more stable, I would love to know about it. I was not sure what forum to post this and I seen others post about HomeSafe View, so I put it here, if it needs to be moved, please feel free. My system: SWDVK-849808. DVR and 8 5MP Cameras. Note the updated release can be downloaded here: This release fixes a number of bugs and improves performance on higher resolution DVRs and NVRs such as your 5MP unit. Note that streaming multiple full resolution mainstreams is taxing on the best of systems and can be a cause of some instability. I recommend if you want to view mainstream (recorded streams) then you only view one or two at a time and if you want to view all 8 cameras at once you are better off choosing substream viewing as it will be very stable. Hope this helps. Hi OTA, welcome to the community. The version on HomeSafe View Mac you currently have was a provisional release for Mac OS.
